We had a few things to celebrate this weekend. So we took a little leap o' faith and made reservations at the ocean. Despite my own personal "momma" reservations, we decided the benefits of an ocean getaway outweighed the potential risks. We built up the courage to take Scarlett anywhere beyond our living room, or a 10 minute "pick up the pull ups" trip to Target #mommaismissingthosedollarbins🙍 I spent a long time trying to figure out why I felt so apprehensive about taking her someplace. Additionally, I can also add that I made the mistake of googling Scarlett's immunosuppressant drug side effect lists.... don't cry too hard don't smile too big don't swim don't...

Scarlett was evacuated a month early because my liver decided to malfunction and I was diagnosed with 'cholestasis of pregnancy'. This pretty much means that my liver held up a giant middle finger mid-pregnancy and refused to process any of the crud in my bloodstream- which, as one could imagine, is NOT a conducive environment for growing a tiny human baby child. SO, out she came at exactly 36 weeks. Tiny, but strong , and completely perfect . Well, she didn't just "come" out.
